Scholar Involvement

"We strive for public esteem based upon the demonstrated ability to achieve and maintain positions of respect in our community." This excerpt from the Evans Scholars Creed focuses on our Scholars' ability to not only get involved on campus, but also to be active leaders in our clubs and organizations. Over the course a Scholar's four years, it is our hope that he or she will get involved in at least one group or team on campus and will build valuable relationships outside the walls of our Scholarship House. It is important that our Scholars feel a connection to our university and there is no better way to gain that connection than by being involved in a campus organization. Our Scholars are involved in a range of activities from club sports to student government, and we feel that there is no organization too big or too small for us to be involved in. At OSU we are very proud of our academic accomplishments, and we are always thrilled to see Scholars lead and expand their groups when they are not studying. We would like to highlight several Scholars, and their activities at our university.
